three program partners have come together

In early 2021, we witnessed the highest levels of violence our city had ever experienced and a decline in opportunities for young people in the summer due to the pandemic. We had to act.

Three organizations came together and the summer youth employment program was birthed. The initiative focuses on creating employment opportunities and expanding career pathways for Kansas City youth from historically marginalized communities most impacted by violence.
